On Friday the11 th of March at 05:46am a major tsunami hit Japan and it killed more than 8,600 and 13, 000 are still missing and the final toll has expected to reach nearly 20,000.
What cuased this earthquake you ask well Japan sits on a region called the ring of fire.A series of plates that move under ground over each other slowly ,the plates jam and do not move but the pressure to move them increases and finally one gives up and there is a sudden release of energy as the plates start to move. So there you go.
Wow you have been busy investigating the cause of this earthquake. It has had horrific consequences throughout Japan. The impact and destruction is really quite astounding. What great pictures you have found.
